This advancement allows for a bolt-on replacement that enhances shock absorption capabilities. An upsized shock bore diameter promotes consistent performance by mitigating shock fade, and the velocity-sensitive damping delivers added resistance upon continuous impacts. The utilization of lightweight aluminum in the shock bodies and reservoirs ensures that performance gains aren't burdened by excessive weight. For riders looking to fine-tune their suspension, the product features independent adjusters for high- and low-speed compression, extensive-range rebound modification, and an adjustable dual-rate spring package with crossover rings for optimal performance adjustment. Fox's proprietary Internal Bypass technology (IBP) furnishes variable damping control that adapts to the piston's position within the shock. It offers gentler damping mid-stroke for a smoother ride over varied terrain while increasing resistance substantially at full compression to prevent bottoming out during aggressive runs.
