Fox Factory has crafted a state-of-the-art shock absorber for UTV/Side-by-Side vehicles, leveraging race-derived position-sensitive damping technology initially engineered for trophy trucks. This product offers a smooth bolt-on replacement solution that enhances performance significantly. It features an increased shock bore diameter to stave off heat-induced fade and velocity-sensitive damping that builds additional resistance under repetitive impacts. Crafted with aluminum bodies and reservoirs, the product ensures high durability while offering weight reduction—for uncompromised performance. Riders seeking fine-tuned suspension will benefit from separate high- and low-speed compression adjusters, a broad-ranged rebound adjustment, and a versatile dual-rate spring package with adjustable crossover rings. Fox Factory's patented Internal Bypass technology (IBP) provides adaptive damping control. This dynamic system adjusts the damping force depending on the piston's position within the shock. For mid-stroke piston travel, the damping is more responsive, enhancing smoothness over rough terrain. As the piston approaches full compression, the product substantially increases damping to prevent bottoming out on hard hits. Likewise, at full extension, the damping intensifies to avert damage from spring rebound. This technology delivers a fine balance of comfort and control, regardless of the terrain.
