Fox Factory has engineered position-sensitive damping technology, derived from championship-winning trophy trucks, into a direct bolt-on replacement shock for UTVs and side-by-sides. These shocks feature a larger bore diameter to minimize fading and incorporate velocity-sensitive damping for enhanced resistance during persistent impacts. Constructed with aluminum bodies and reservoirs, the product maintains a lighter weight without diminishing performance. To further optimize suspension tuning, the shocks offer independent high and low-speed compression adjusters, broad-range rebound adjusters, and a true dual-rate spring package with adjustable crossover rings. Fox Factory's patented Internal Bypass technology (IBP) provides varied damping control depending on the piston's position within the shock. A lighter damping is employed mid-stroke to absorb whoops and rocks, while body roll is kept in check. At the extremes of the stroke during full compression or extension, the damping intensifies to prevent bottoming out or topping out, ensuring stable handling over rugged terrain at high speeds.
