Fox Factory has developed a game-changing, direct bolt-on replacement shock absorber for UTV/Side-by-Sides utilizing position-sensitive damping technology inspired by trophy truck racing. The shock features a larger bore diameter, which aids in preventing performance fade even after repeated impacts. To keep the vehicle light and agile, the product incorporates aluminum bodies and reservoirs in its build. The product comes equipped with several tuning options for the avid off-roader. Independent high- and low-speed compression adjusters, coupled with wide-range rebound adjusters, give riders the ability to fine-tune their suspension settings. Furthermore, the true dual-rate spring package with adjustable crossover rings offers additional customization for peak performance in varying terrains. Fox's patented Internal Bypass technology (IBP) offers sophisticated damping control that changes based on the piston's position within the shock. It ensures softer damping in the middle of the stroke for a smoother ride over rough terrain while providing increased resistance at the ends of the stroke. This dual-action prevents bottoming out on large bumps and top-out damage when the springs extend fully, allowing for consistent control and durability during aggressive rides.
