Firstgear 90W Heated Jacket Liner
Firstgear's no one left behind policy ensures that riders of most motorcycle models can take advantage of the warming effects of heated apparel.
Efficient warming is dependent upon close proximity to the body. Firstgear reduced the amount of sizes while ensuring a good fit by incorporating stretch panels into the liner's design. The long-sleeve liner cocoons its wearer in warmth by incorporating heating elements across the upper and lower back, down the sleeves, around the neck and, to combat the effects of windchill, the liner concentrates heat in the front of the jacket.
- Form-fitted to be worn close to the body for optimal heat transfer
- Liners built to be temperature neutral to allow wearing when active heating isn't necessary
- Integrated wiring connections for gloves
- Packs into its own zippered pouch
- Draws approx. 7 amps
Note: Heat controller sold separately.
,very warm couldn't believe it.next purchase heated gloves.on this bike no drain on battery at all even at stop lights, traffic etc.stator output was plenty strong.
PROS: Wind proof, Heated collar, Low wattage usage, Excellent heat
BEST USES: Cold weather, rainy weather
+ Simple connection to the bike
+ Expandable connectivity to multiple garments (gloves, pants, socks)
+ Separate wiring option for gloves and jacket so they can be controlled independently with the dual thermostat (very nice feature)
+ Outstanding product support from the OEM (WarmnSafe is OEM for these FirstGear products)
In over 15 years of trying to figure out the cleanest, simplest, least bulky way to wire multiple heated garments, this is by far the best! The jacket connects to the gloves at the ends of the sleeves, and connects to the pants at the waist. The pants connect to the socks at the cuff. You don't need to run individual wires up your arms or down your legs - very clean and simple. You only have one little coax connection to the bike at your waist and that's it.
I was very impressed with the level of warmth too. I got the lower wattage jacket (65W) so the total demand on my bike's electrical system would be less. The 65W provides more than enough warmth, especially since it's under a leather jacket. I never have to turn it all the way up. It provides more than enough heat on the 50% setting, or less.
I'm using the remote dual heat troller and it was very easy to set it up to control the gloves separately from the pants/socks/jacket. Such a great way to control heat without having to install multiple switches, custom route wires, etc. Very clean and simple. I love it!
On top of this, the support you get from WarmnSafe (FirstGear's OEM for these products) is outstanding. They are very responsive to questions (returning calls, emails, etc.) and even offered to send me a new wiring harness for the battery just to ensure there are no issues from their supplier. Great level of support which is not that common these days...
I can't recommend the complete system enough (dual remote heat-troller, Carbon gloves, jacket, pants, and socks).
