Useless
These things are useless. Sound quality is minimal and above about 30 mph, the volume is lost completely. Either spend the money on quality bluetooth stuff, use your earbuds, or forget sound. Don't waste your money on these!

Pretty good, if on sale
I got these for $30 on sale/clearance. I had some basic helmet speakers before these. Those speakers were wider and thinner (I have a Shoei RF-1200) that barely fit in the earcups. These fit perfectly with a bit of space to spare. They are thicker, but since fitting into the pockets better, no real noticeable change that way.

The sound is better. I have an Aukey BR-C9 that I got a couple years ago from Amazon for $15 that I have on my helmet because it's tiny and Bluetooth 4.1, Gives about 5 hours of music playback (I don't care about talking on the phone when I ride).

Coupled together and you have a winning combination that cost about $45 total. Better than nothing, not the best. Bass is lacking still, but good enough for rock, punk and metal music that I listen to mostly any way.

Totally worth $30, not sure I would pay more.

How do u install in helmet?

BEST ANSWER: In a Shoei RF-1200, just take out all the padding and then pop in the speakers into the ear cups. You might want to try it on before finishing, because it has a few spacers you can use to bring the speakers closer to your ear. I didn't use them personally. Then route your cables, use a bit of good tape to hold done and put your padding back in. Simple as that.
