WOW! Works as advertised
Very economical option to a HID Kit. I was thinking about installing HID on my ZZR 1200 but was enlightened about this new LED kit from Speedmetal at my local Cycle Gear. They were out at the time so I came back 2 weeks later and saw a full display as soon as I walked in the store. Installation took 30 - 40 mins to install, I am very impressed with this kit and recommend it to anyone looking for better lighting for their bike, you want be disappointed.

PROS: Ease of installation, Great illumination, Just what I hoped for, Good price point

BEST USES: Night riding, Daytime Visibility

Not "Plug-N-Play" for 1st gen Busa
If you own a 1st gen Hayabusa, this item will not fit without modification of the headlight housing. This requires a Dremel tool, a lot of looking and thinking, a couple hours of carefull work, and a lot of profane language. Once installed and adjusted, it is the shiznit! The beam pattern is the same as the stock H7 and it is BRIGHT! If you don't mind the work, it is worth it! I gave it 3 stars for being a PITA to install.

PROS: Beam Pattern Same As Oem, Very bright

CONS: Install Headache

Much brighter and easy to install.
I installed the H4 on my 08 Harley Street Glide. Having to remove the fairing on the initial install took much longer than it took to install the new LED. I did have to modify the retainer spring to fit the LED a little. No big deal. I do need to adjust the light pattern. I have to remove the fairing again though. As it stands now, I don't see a big difference between high and low beam. I am hoping that with a little adjustment, I can get the high beam where I need it.

PROS: Paid Less Than Half Price, Much brighter than stock, Easy To Install

CONS: Instructions vague, Can Be Hard To Adjust

BEST USES: Night driving, Be Seen In Daylight

Great Light
I bought two for my V-strom. One had the correct metal adapter to mount in the headlight (H7) and the other had a plastic plate that seemed more like a H4 mount. I could only find the one metal plate in the store stock. Be sure you see a silver metal plate in the box for the H7 bulb otherwise it well not mount correctly.

My bike has two running headlights so I had to buy two of these kits. One started flickering yesterday so I went back to have it replaced. CycleGear swapped it out no problem. Got home and my other headlight started to flicker. Going to return that one as well. They emit great light but quality is lacking. CycleGears 1 year warranty on the product came in handy.

PROS: Great light output

CONS: Build Quality

Low beam gone first night!
I think I must have gotten a defective light, the low beam was gone in 2 hours and the hi beam was so dim I had to stop and buy another halogen and replace it. I was on my way to Alaska from TX but bike broke in BC and I had to leave it there, or I would have returned it. I would like to say , I have had to return a helmet in FL that I bought in TX and I called the local Cycle Gear, walked in , they handed me a new helmet and I was off, absolutely no hassle. I buy everything I can there.

CONS: Burned Out In 2 Hours

Very pleased so far..
It was finally nice to find an LED headlight upgrade for an H4 application. Very simple installation with a light output that, in my opinion, is much brighter than your standard halogen bulb. I must say it was a very difficult process to find the LED headlight option for a metric bike. Glad to finally have one.

PROS: Easy Installation

Does not last
Cycle Gear replaced the defective units under warranty with no hassle.

PROS: Bright Plug And Play

CONS: Does not last

You must get them!
This product has to be the most economical upgrade for headlights I have come across. The in-store demonstration of the brightness sold me. The quick plug and play installation made the product worth keeping. And the end results of better visibility and increased illumination area makes me want to recommend this product to everyone who rides. The picture attached shows the contrast between the l.e.d (left) and standard (right) bulb. It was too bright to take a picture from the front.

PROS: Extremely bright, Well constructed solid, Great Value For Upgrade, Increase visibility, Easy Installation

Led aggrivation
Tested and it was BRIGHT! Pure pain to install. I had to cut the bulb seal to get it close to fitting. Now the seal needs replacing. Light seal would not fit over bulges where the adapter mounting plate screws go. Disappointed. And will be retureturning tomorrow.fourwayz

CONS: Adapter In The Way, Had To Cut Bulb Seal, PITA to install
