CE Level 1

CE Certified Level 1 Limb Protectors (shoulders, elbows, knees & hips)

What does CE Certification mean?

Limb Armor 1 EN1621-1:2012

There are two main CE standards relevant to impact protection:

EN1621-1:2012 Covers limb protectors (shoulders, elbows, knees & hips)
EN1621-2:2014 Covers back protectors

Armor is certified at either CE Level 1 or CE Level 2. It’s tested and assigned a rating based on how much impact energy reaches the body, a metric known as transmitted force. Lower transmitted force = better overall protection.

CE Level 2

The highest standard of impact protection available.

CE Level 1

The go-to, lightweight standard of impact protection.

CE Rated A

CE Certified Class A

What does CE Certification mean?

A EN17092-2:2020

What Is The CE Rating? The CE mark certifies compliance with strict European safety laws. To earn it, gear has to pass EN 17092—an independent lab test for for abrasion, seam strength, and tear resistance. After that, it’s assigned a specific protection class (A, AA, or AAA).

So, CE is the stamp of approval, EN 17092 is the specific test, and A/AA/AAA is the score.

CE Rated AAA

Tested at ~75 mph

The top level of protection available.

CE Rated AA

Tested at ~43 mph

An excellent balance of protection and comfort.

CE Rated A

Tested at ~28 mph

Baseline level of riding protection.

CE Rated B

Meets Class A abrasion-resistance protection standards, but comes without impact protection.

CE Rated C

Impact protection only. No abrasion resistance included.

Beneath strategically placed polyester mesh panels, there’s SEESMART armor with CE-rated protection that you can rely on. Plus, plenty of practical touches for your daily trips around town like the zipped pockets, a wind catcher behind the front zipper and a jacket-to-pant connection loop – all the season’s essentials.

360-Degree Airflow Systems

Engineered for maximum heat dispersal, strategic mesh inserts located on the front, back and inner sleeves allow direct wind penetration. This optimized layout maximizes airflow around the body to eliminate heat buildup on warm rides.

Integrated Safety Reflectivity

Designed to increase visibility in low-light environments, a dedicated reflective logo on the rear of the jacket catches headlights and ambient light to improve night-time safety.

Modernized Armor Suite

The evolution of a classic, this jacket comes pre-equipped with sleek, energy-absorbing SEESMART CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor. Upgrade your protection matrix anytime by inserting a SEESOFT CE Level 2 back protector for stealthy, high-grade impact defense.

Crafted with an ergonomic silhouette that stays close to the body without feeling restrictive. Multiple cinch points located at the cuffs, bicep areas and waistline, ensure this jacket stays secure, stable and perfectly positioned on every ride.
