HJC's i50 helmet features an aggressive design optimized for off-road excursions, boasting a large eye port and dual goggle band placement. The helmet has an Advanced Polycarbonate shell, enhanced by SLID (Sliding Layer Impact Distribution) technology. SLID comprises a gel-like material in the interior that mitigates the force of oblique impacts by allowing a slip-like motion, effectively dispersing energy to reduce rotational acceleration on the brain.

In addition to its protective capabilities, the i50 prioritizes comfort. It's equipped with nine intake and four exhaust vents that channel airflow from the front of the helmet to the back, complementing the Supercool interior lining, which boasts moisture-wicking and antibacterial properties. The helmet also accommodates riders who wear glasses, featuring interior grooves for a pressure-free fit.
