This jacket features a detachable D-Dry membrane that withstands up to a 10,000 mm water column, offering exceptional waterproof capabilities. Adjustable hook and loop closures allow you to wear the membrane either over or under the jacket to suit varying weather conditions. A removable thermal liner ensures warmth on cold, wet days, and can also be worn independently for just a touch of extra insulation. The jacket is designed with extensive ventilation, boasting large chest air vents that channel airflow around the shoulders and extract it at the back to provide cooling relief in warm climates. Additionally, sleeves are outfitted with dual-slider zippered vents to enhance air circulation, especially when riding in an upright position.

The Gullfoss D-Dry not only excels in comfort, but also in safety. It is AA class certified and comes with ventilated Pro-Armor Level 2 soft protectors at both elbows and shoulders, upholding Dainese's rigorous safety standards. For those seeking even greater protection, this jacket has pockets to accommodate optional back protectors and split chest protectors, and it is compatible with the Dainese Smart Air® Airbag system—all available separately. Functional design elements include two front pockets, a secure waterproof inside pocket, and a generous rear cargo pocket that conveniently stores the waterproof membrane when it's not in use.
