Great warm weather jacket
Crash tested-- 35mph lowside around curve on PCH in Big Sur. Comfortable enough in 100+ degree weather, which means you will wear it and it will protect you. Unadvertised zippered exterior utility pocket across lower back. Light color shows dirt and road grime after awhile, easily cleaned with a soft brush, mild detergent and a garden hose. No ostentatious logos or brand names plastered all over it, so you can choose to keep it it plain and classy or personalize it.
There is nothing about this jacket I would change, it would be highly recommended at 3x the price.

PROS: Durable, Stylish, Versatile, Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable

hit the ground hard today
I put my KLR650 down on the side of a highway while avoiding a collision today. I was doing about 70 on the open road, was able to grab my brakes briefly before hitting a rough shoulder which probably put me down at about 50mph when I let off the brakes and eventually went down. I landed 25-30 feet past my bike which flipped after hitting a sign and landed facing the opposite direction of travel. I hit the ground hard, smacked my helmet twice, ect. ect. I couldn't believe that my jacket was in one piece. My helmet (Bilt Apollo) took a beating and served it's purpose. But this "budget" jacket delivered more than I would have expected. The back pad is very light and flimsy. However, the shoulder and elbow pads are firm, absorbent, and feel like quality. I don't often ride with the liner in because I live in AZ. If need be, I throw on a light sweater underneath. I like the features of the jacket. The lower back vents, sleeve buttons to cinch up the sleeves around the forearms, and the reflective pinstriping. I also like the inner pockets both in the jacket, or in the liner if I have it in. Either way I have an inside pocket. My spill was hard, and the jacket survived unscathed. I just need to wash the dirt out of it. FOR THE MONEY, you will be hard pressed to find a better jacket. Better jackets are out there, but they will likely always cost more. I got the jacket at 13.5k miles and now I have 19.8k miles on the bike. This jacket is holding up very well. If you are on a budget, like me, try one on and see how you like it. I recommend it.

For HOT weather!
The best jacket ever (with a bit of homemade alteration) for riding in very hot weather. In the heat of summer, I'm always seeing guys riding around in t-shirts (no helmet) and shorts. Fools! There's no need to expose your corpus delicious to rashe de la rhode when this great jacket works, and is really low priced for what it is. It delivers the protection a rider sorely needs, and is cool with the wind flowing effortlessly through it. I added a Bilt Cooling Vest last summer and it was like riding with air conditioning. The vest got my shirt wet, but without it I would be wet from sweat. In the heat, my 60-40 shirts dry in 15 minutes anyway! Internet forums will tell you the soft foam in the back is worthless. I took it out, and the pocket for it also, and that gave me even better air flow. The handy insulation works well only if the whole outfit is covered with my always-present windproof rain jacket. This jacket plus vest gives me the protection all riders need, plus it's downright comfortable in 95 degree weather. I'll be riding with the mesh pants this summer also. I'm a 70 year old who lives on a Yamaha 250 all summer (and Spring and Fall). I have all Bilt gear (In spite of their schtick about everything always being on sale). It works good, and I can afford it on Social Security.

just what i was looking for
the "fit" is what sold me.. this model is available in "long" sizes.. no more short sleeve length, or open lower back area.. being sensitive to bee stings, the high collar was welcomed.. mountain riding offers quite a wide range in temperatures.. the removable liner is a nice feature for those conditions... i wanted a modestly priced jacket, seeing that i need one for summer, and one for the winter season..

PROS: Comfortable

Great jacket for the price
Great jacket. With the lining it's good down to about 45 degrees. Without, good to the mid to upper 90's. If your out on the road, there's enough ventilation for 100+ (yes, it's hot, but better than being baked by the sun).

PROS: Comfortable, Well Insulated

Was a great deal and good fit
I was very pleased with the product and its construction, seems very durable.

The only complaint I have was that the Dominator CE Back Protector Insert (web2044107) was not included. Here is the link to that product:

I'm a large guy (6'4" 320lbs) and it's hard to find gear in my size and this 4x Jacket fit snugly but still very comfortable around the waist (actually have to cinch the strap) I'm actually very pleased that it's a good fit because you don't want gear to be too loose either.

I purchased this because I've lost over 160 pounds and my custom leathers are too loose and unsafe should I fall. The pics are on my Sport 900 which has been in storage for many years waiting on me to lose weight (still have a ways to go to get back to 230 goal)

PROS: Good fit, Affordable, Comfortable

CONS: Back Armor Not Included

Works well for Arizona summer riding.
Bought in store... staff was helpful and didn't try selling me the most expensive jacket on the rack.

Great coat
Just competed a five day ride from Eastern Connecticut to Rhinebeck, NY then to Laconia, NH. I wore it with and w/out the liner and under rain gear. It worked great and was comfortable at all times. It also packs into the saddle bags nicely when at the events or restaurants.

PROS: Comfortable

CONS: Add One Inch To Length

BEST USES: Long Rides, Warm Weather, Safety

Mesh Jacket at Cycle Gear
I bought this jacket just before a May ride. 2400 miles in less than a week. I went through wind storms, sand storms, rain, hot weather of 98 F, and cool weather of 40 F., all in a week - This jacket just got the performance test it wasn't expecting. I do about 600 - 700 miles a day when getting to the destination, so I'm in the saddle a lot (V-twin Tour bike). Bottom line is ..... This Mesh jacket did it all. I have a lot of jackets now and have had over the years. For the price and the durability, fit, and usage you get out of this jacket, it is amazing. If you're looking at other jackets (and I did), I would sure recommend you give this one a strong consideration.
