Litterally Saved my Skin!!!
I was a victim of a road rage driver in Italy last week. The driver hit me with his SUV and caused me to low side and slide about 150 feet on the road. Thanks to the pants, I only had minor bruising. The outer layer of the pants shredded but the Kevlar prevented me from any damages.

I have to replace them now but will definitely buy them again.

Great, affordable riding pants
I was looking for a good pair of pants for street riding that weren't jeans, and weren't waterproof. There were a bunch of options at higher price points from other brands, but I just wanted something that would offer decent protection without breaking the bank. The build quality seems good, and the fabric seems durable, without being harsh on your skin. The knee pads are sewed in, and feel a little weird when you walk around, but when you're riding, they are in the right position (just like they are on a full leather suit). They look great, and are comfortable, and for the money, there wasn't anything else even close. I'm very pleased that I paid half of what they would be from other brands for the exact same thing, and the quality seems as good to me.
The only thing I'd mention, is that mine were too small. I used the sizing chart, and the ones I ordered were too small. It was easy to go to my local Cyclegear store and exchange them for one size larger. I'm 6'4" and muscular, and they were tight on my legs and in the crotch. Stepping up one size made them fit perfect. I would recommend them if you're looking for an affordable, comfy riding pant that offers decent protection (better than jeans).

Best pants all around
Super comfortable, tons of pockets that zip or Velcro shut for safe storage of important items. Abrasion resistant. I crashed on the street at 40mph and slid about 40-50 feet of blacktop on my left side and the only thing that happened was the left rear external pocket partially tore off. I was completely protects and got no road rash at all. I did fracture my foot but that had nothing to do with these pants, they are super comfortable, and light and soft. They are not comfortable than my regular Levi's.
Only criticism is the sizing is off, as is with most Bilt and sedici products. You must try them on and disregard the size on the tag. Go with what fits. I am 5'9" 175 athletic build, little extra on the gut right now and I usually wear a 32 or 34 Levi's 569, and I had to buy these pants in a 36.

Great Pants with Hip Pad pockets
I like these pants. They look like regular jeans, have Kevlar for extra protection, and are comfortable (if you try them on and choose accordingly because they run a bit small).

Some reviews say the knee pads are not removable and others say that they are. Maybe it's a later feature, but I got mine last summer and my pads were removable (although they may seem to not be at first).

The label says to wash with the pads in. I did that the first time and the pads wound up all twisted around. In the process of untwisting them I realized I could take the pad out which is great but it is a chore to put back in.

Something else I noticed while replacing the pads is that there are 2 pockets located inside the pants and on each side. I realized that these would be perfect for hip pads as my other motorcycle pants have them almost exactly except with the pads in them.

I was already planning to get the special underwear with hip pads before I noticed that so this was a pleasant surprise. No where on the label does it say anything about it but it sure explains why the fit is as tight as it is.

On the downside the pads are somewhat if you are wearing them without riding for long periods they can be quite annoying as they rub on your knees. They are also a bit stiff but to me a small price to pay for the extra protection.

Great Pants
I love these pants! I took a road trip to California a few months ago, and I wore these pants the entire 2 months I was there. They do get a bit warm in the heat, but with the added protection of the Kevlar/Denim, I'll take that tradeoff any day of the week. You also have the option of removing the armor in the knees for a more casual look. Lot of pockets! In fact, last week I discovered one that I didn't know I had! I cannot attest to their abrasion resistance, because the one time I dropped the bike out there, I wasn't wearing them. Great product. Plan to purchase more!

Need to Try These On
These are good well made cargo pants style motorcycle pants but you really need to try to them on. On me, when they fit around my thighs, I had to go about 2 sizes bigger around my waist.

Great for women
As a tall female (5'8") I was having a hard time finding pants. These fit great and look stylish. I really love them. I'm 140 lbs and normally wear 8. The 32R fit me perfectly.

pretty good
i like the general fit and feel of these pants. the cons are that the cut in some areas is a little off, sorry hard to explain. some of the pockets do not seem user friendly. the velcro could of been of a better quality and when wearing on a sport touring bike the ce knee pads do not ride over the knees, they ride up on the legs. i will continue to use these just with out the ce pads and i will probably replace the velcro strips my self. i would say get them if you like the look and not the usefulness or safety. overall ok riding pants.

I like them!
I am 5'11", 34" inseam, and these fit great. I just used them for a 6 day, 1400+ mile road trip, and had no issues. The knee pads stayed right where they were supposed to, and made kneeling photos and bike inspections easy on the knees. I want to get a few more pairs of these!

cargo pants
Knee pads shift to the inside of the knee leaving the most vulnerable part of the knee exposed.
I ride without the knee pad inserts.
Pants are very comfortable and breath and fit well.

PROS: Breathable, Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable

CONS: Knee Pads Don't Protect

What is the zipper for on the back of these pants?
A shopper on Apr 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It zips onto the back of your riding jacket to keep your jacket from riding up & pants from riding down. This only works on the jackets that have that horizontal zipper half on the back.
Are there pockets for hip pads?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2017
