Ducati just announced its first release of the 2023 World Premiere season at the Rimini Riviera Grand Prix, but it isn’t a racing motorcycle. It’s the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, and Ducati says it will limit production to 630 units, plus a reserved batch of 63 Lambo Streetfighters for a special set of customers. These motorcycles will cost $68,000, or $83,000 for the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti.
Ducati and Lamborghini previously collaborated on the $31,995 Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, which was styled after the $2.6 million Sián FKP 37. That first batch of collab bikes sold out in a couple weeks, so the Italians began planning another project to follow up on that success. The new Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini pulls inspiration from the humble Huracán STO, which retails for a meager $327,000, but the new Streetfighter retails for more than double the Lambo Diavel’s MSRP. So what sets this new model apart?
Ducati points to three elements that are borrowed from the Huracán: paint, wheel design, and bodywork. The "Citrea Green" with "Dac Orange” accents are exactly the same paints used on the Huracán STO. The wheels are specially built for these limited-edition bikes, and they use a titanium wheel hub nut at the rear that was designed to mimic those seen on the Huracán STO. The Streetfighter’s bodywork gets a thorough overhaul to fit the theme. Most of the plastics are now carbon fiber. Ducati’s stylists changed up the tank cover, belly pan and tail for these 693 motorcycles, and quite a few vents and extractors were added for good measure. The front fender’s design has been reworked to resemble the the Huracán’s “cofango,” which is a fun Italian portmanteau that describes the Huracán’s distinctive one-piece hood/fender.
As for those 63 additional bikes set aside, they are reserved for Lamborghini customers who want Streetfighters matched to their cars. Called the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti series, these bikes can be optioned with paint, wheels, seats, and front brake caliper colors to replicate the customers’ cars. Of course, matching helmets, jackets, and race suits are available. Might as well get the matching Lamborghini edition yacht while you’re at it.
Other upgrades include a carbon fiber dry clutch cover, billet footpegs from Rizoma, a titanium and carbon fiber Akrapovič exhaust, lightened levers, and lots more carbon fiber. A kit for track days adds block-off plates for the license plate hanger and mirrors, a racing gas cap, and a color-matched cover. Outside these alterations, the Lamborghini bike is exactly like the existing Streetfighter V4 S, with the same Desmosedici Stradale engine producing a claimed 208 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. Engine tune, braking equipment, chassis specs, and so on are unchanged.
All Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini and Speciale Clienti motorcycles will have the model's name and serial number on a special plate on the tank. The dash also flashes the bike’s number at startup, just in case you’ve forgotten which one you own.
With the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, Ducati’s partnership with Lamborghini takes an aggressively premium turn that leaves the Diavel 1260 project in the dust. In fact, the Superleggera V4 is the only Ducati with a higher MSRP at $100,000. Lambo lovers, it’s time to figure out where your local Ducati dealer is before orders close.
