S&S Compression Release Kit

If you built a big monster of a motor, you want it to destroy the pavement, not your starter. S&S Cycle's compression release system eliminates high compression starting problems. Designed exclusively for S&S cylinder heads, the compression release system consists of a small valve that opens during starting and allows a portion of the cylinder pressure to escape into the exhaust port. The reduced cylinder pressure makes it easier for the starter to turn the engine.

Available in electric or manual styles for S&S heads that accept compression releases
Electric compression releases open when you press the start button and close when the button is released
Manual compression releases are opened manually and close when the motor starts
Kits include the required parts for installation
