Speedmetal Block Off Plates Yamaha R1 2002-2006

I've never had any issues with any products I've bought from them. Everything works great.

Looks fantastic on my show bike. It gives a very clean and smooth appearance. I've had plenty of compliments about them.

PROS: Easy To Install, Lasts forever, Looks great

The plates are made well enough. Fit great on the stock fairings. The screws were not long enough to fit with my race fairings.

I bought this set as a replacement to previous block off plates that fell off on the track after forgetting to tighten the screws all the way. This was much better than spending $70. After all its just a small piece and gets the job done for a much better price. You can still see CNC tooling marks on the finish but it doesn't really detract from the overall look.

PROS: Cheaper Than Alternative, Works as expected

CONS: Finish Is Not Perfect, Can See Tooling Marks

The product fits and worked for me quickly when I misplaced my other block off plates. Way to expensive for two plain CNC pieces of metal with four screws. For the price paid I would expect it to be branded or etched with "CBR" or "Honda" or something. I like plain and do not want branding so expected a cheaper price.

I purchased the block off plates with some bar end mirrors, however when i went to install the plates the mounting bolts were to close together. I guess the 2013 zx6r has different mounts for the mirrors. Not a huge problem. I am currently using the bar ends with the stock mirrors removed, i just don't have block off plates on.
Bottom line, be prepared to return them if they don't fit your bike.

Fit was a bit of a struggle. Screws barely long enough. I think I got two turns on the nut. I own a z1000sx(ninja 1000 abs)

PROS: Will Fit 2014 Ninja 1000, Lowest Price Good Finish
