Open Trail's UHMW Skid Plate System uses 1/2" ultra high molecular weight polyethylene resin for superior protection over hard, jagged surfaces.  UHMW polyethylene also features low friction, high abrasion resistant and self-lubricating properties - helping your UTV slide easily over any hang-ups. Using polyethylene resin construction (instead of metal), Open Trail Skid Plate components stay completely rust-free over their lifetime. The kit adds full underside protection and shields your rig's critical drive components from rocks, roots and unwanted touchdowns. The area of coverage is far superior to stock skid plating.
