The STX Performance rear shocks are a step up from the entry level STX Classic emulsion shocks. The main difference between the two is the addition of a divided piston within the damping circuit. This piston keeps the nitrogen charge separate from the damping oil for more reliable performance under heavy use. The only adjustment available to the rider is preload, compression and rebound damping rates are set at the factory.

Like all Ohlins shocks, the STX Performance utilize precision machining on all componentry, allowing for a low friction, high performance design. The wide range of preload adjustments allows you to soften or stiffen the ride, and can also accommodate many riders varying in weight.
