These shocks are built to endure, featuring a 7/8-inch hard chromed shaft and a redundant seal pack that resists the harshest conditions, ensuring sustained operation throughout their lifetime. Riders have the power to fine-tune the shock response to align with both the changing terrain and personal preferences, courtesy of the Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters. Additionally, the rebound adjustment spans a broad range, allowing for precise traction control, while preload adjustments can be made to influence ride height. The shocks boast 2.5-inch diameter aluminum bodies that not only shed heat efficiently but also enlarge the internal oil capacity. This design promotes superior damping control with the help of high-flow pistons, honed from FOX's extensive racing experience. The piggyback reservoir enlarges the oil volume even further and maintains consistent performance with an internal floating piston that segregates the nitrogen charge from the shock oil. The innovative Bottom-out Control (BOC) mechanism heightens compression damping during severe impacts, bolstering damping force by up to 30 percent in the latter 25 percent of the suspension travel.
