These shocks are primed to conquer diverse terrains, outfitted with a 7/8-inch hard chromed shaft and a fortified seal pack, constructed to withstand rugged conditions and guarantee extensive serviceability. Riders have the ability to fine-tune damping to accommodate the nature of the terrain and their unique driving style with the integrated Dual Speed Compression (DSC) feature. Wide-ranging rebound adjustments provide the rider with the power to refine traction, while the preload collar allows for precise setting of the ride height. The 2.5-inch aluminum bodies of the shocks not only serve as effective conduits for heat dissipation but also augment the internal oil volume, which in turn elevates the damping control owing to FOX's performance-proven high-flow pistons. The piggyback reservoir amps up the oil capacity and houses an internal floating piston which delineates the nitrogen charge from the shock oil. Added to these features is the bottom-out control (BOC) which ratchets up the compression damping by as much as 30 percent during severe impacts, thereby offering enhanced damping force just when it is needed in the last quarter of travel.
