Cylinder Works Cylinder Kits are a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming boring, honing and re-plating processes required to remedy worn cylinders. Standard Bore Kits include all new - not remanufactured - OEM replica piston(s), cylinder(s), rings, gaskets and hardware required for installation. Pistons are heat treated, T-5 hardened and tempered replacement units supplied by Vertex. Pistons are an exact replica of the OEM piston that they replace - coming in either cast or forged designs, dependent on factory spec - with molybdenum disulphite skirts. Supplied cylinder sleeves are diamond honed to the exact bore dimension and proper surface finish to ensure  proper ring seal and oil retention. Cylinder Works Standard Bore Kits meet or exceed OEM quality to quickly restore stock horsepower and extended engine longevity.
