BMW’s water-cooled R 1200 GS was designed for big adventures and lots of cargo, but an unladen GSW leans at quite an aggressive angle when on the side stand. This severe lean angle can make for precarious mounting and dismounting, especially when riding off-road on uneven terrain.

The Side Stand Foot Riser Plate is a 0.25" (6.4mm) layer of anodized aluminum that sandwiches in with an AltRider Side Stand Foot for the water-cooled BMW R1200GS. This laser cut aluminum piece can change the lean angle by as much as 5°, which can make all the difference at the end of a long day of riding.
