An AltRider Crash Bar and Skid Plate System engulfs your bike in a robust stainless steel cage and covers its underbelly with thick aluminum plating. Riding off-road or on, a crashing bike contains a lot of force. AltRider engineers their crash bars and skid plates to transfer loads across multiple mounting points to minimize stress concentrations. Crash bars are constructed from 5-axis laser cut stainless steel tubing that is TIG welded by hand right here in the US for the ultimate in quality control. Stainless steel construction means a crash may take off some paint, but it won't allow rust to impact looks or durability. AltRider Skid Plates are made from laser cut aluminum and feature profiles that maximize ground clearance and channel airflow to prevent heat buildup.
