Wind Stopper lives up to name
Product does work but you will need to secure it in place or it will come off when you take the helmet off. I used two sided tape and that is working.

PROS: Reduces wind noise

CONS: Comes off easy

It's not perfect...but it does work
This does what it's supposed to.

It's a little delicate when first being fitted (particularly on my "XL" helmet. I managed to tear the neoprene while stretching, but bonded it back with "rubber" adhesive (my bad really). Without a ring of black vinyl tape between the helmet and the material this won't stay on as you pull the helmet on and off over your head and you really have to tape it to make it usable.

All the above sounds a bit negative........I LOVE THIS PIECE OF KIT! Once I figured out the tape to hold it in place, this works fantastically. I ride year round in all sorts of weather... single digits, no problem... and the shroud really helps keep the cold off your face. I much prefer it over a face mask. It has the advantage of cutting down on wind noise significantly. I wear ear plugs in the summer but find I don't need to with the sheild in place - short trips at least! I'm considering it a "winter consumable" and will probably toss in come spring and buy a new one next fall.

I like it and it's worth every penny!!!

PROS: Warmer in winter, Protective, Reduces wind noise

CONS: Must be taped in place

i bought this product for me and my girlfriend and both of us have different helmets. after 4 minutes of riding both of them fell off the bottom of our helmets and i returned them to cycle gear. buy a balaclava they work and stay on

CONS: Wears Easily, Poor Fit, Poor Quality

Not worth the money
This item isn't worth the [$]. I have three full face helmets; a Scorpion EXO-700, ICON Airframe and a older HJC and this item wouldn't stay on any of them. With the EXO-700 and the HJC the Windstopper would fall off as soon as you turned you head. You didn't even have to be moving. With these two helmets it would also fall off at highway speeds whether you turned your head or not. When used on the Icon Airframe, it worked a bit better. It would stay on at highways speeds due to the airfoils on the base of the helmet which helped it to stay put IMO. However, like the other two if you turned your head at anything over 20mph, it would fall off. I don't know about everyone else, but if the thing doesn't stay on then its worthless.

PROS: None

CONS: Poor Fit

Good idea bad quality
I get a lot of wind noise in my helmet before using the product. The noise was coming from the bottom of the helmet. Product works great but shortly down the highway and it comes off the helmet and is like a woman's choker around my neck. I only get about 5 miles before I just take it off completely. I also notice a tear forming in the material where it stretches to go around my medium helmet.

PROS: Protective, Adequately Vented

CONS: Poor Fit, Poor Construction

BEST USES: Street Riding, Everyday Riding, Long Trips

OH Boy!
Cool simple product. The only problem I had was the edges of my helmet are slanted in and it did not want to stay on. A little double sided tape later and I love this Product! I intend to by one for all my helmets (you can actually just use one for all your helmets but since I used the tape I dont want to take it off).

PROS: Easy Care, Nice Fabric

The name sayes it all.
I wasn't too sure about this product at first but when it went on sale, I thought give it a try. Well I bought 2 of them and wish I had bought more. I ride down in the 30 degree range almost year round and this 'Wind Stop' does all it claims to do. My neck is protected and the lip does not slip off my helmit, turning my head is not hampered so that's a safety plus. I've been a rider from 1964 and this is the best thing next to the full face helmit.

PROS: Fits Snug, Void Of Pressure Points, Protective, Comfortable, Adequately Vented

BEST USES: Everyday Riding, Long Trips

exactly what i was looking for!
Regular price around $15; sale price about $10; but I got min for half that - priceless! Add in a cheap roll of Velcro and it's worth it, if you are a seasonal rider. But, if you ride all-year-round, $10-$15 can add up if it needs exchanging every 2-months.

PROS: Serves Its Purpose Worn, Workrs Great Brand New, Comfortable, Protective, Fits Snug, Adequately Vented, Void Of Pressure Points

CONS: Needs Velcro To Stay On, Poor Fit, Average Material

BEST USES: Street Riding, Great For The Nw, Everyday Riding, Long Trips

Speed Metal helmet skirt
Great product, works well. I had to apply RTV sealant around the area that goes around the helmet & let it dry before installing. Without it the foam ring will not stay attached to the helmet. Otherwise it works as advertised.

PROS: Quiets Wind Noise

CONS: Had To Add Silicone Bead

BEST USES: Long Trips, Everyday Riding, Street Riding
