The SIDI X3 Boots, formerly marketed as the Sidi X-Treme Boots, feature a hinged ankle support structure that allows for smooth fore and aft transitions but limited side to side movement. The X3 features similar protection as is found on the class-leading Sidi Crossfire 2 Boots but it foregoes the absolutely-everything-is-replaceable mantra to keep the price and more importantly the weight a little less stratospheric. If you are bombing through single track and want a lighter, less restrictive boot that provides just the right amount of tactile feedback, strap on a pair of X3 Boots!
