Sorry-Not waterproof
Soaked feet last weekend, took forever to dry out for the next day ride. The Puget Sound rain wins again! Will return and try again.

Confortable when dry.

Great Boots!
I commute rain or shine, and these boots have yet to let me down, even after consecutive days of extremely wet weather. They started off a bit stiff, but after about a week they evolved into the most comfortable boots I have ever commuted in while still offering good support and protection.

PROS: Stylish, Comfortable

BEST USES: Cold Weather, Rain Riding

Terrific Boots !
This is a GREAT pair of boots. Comfortable right out of the box. Not too stiff, you can actually walk in them without making your feet cry.
Terrific value.

PROS: Comfortable, Stylish, Good Cushioning

BEST USES: Dual Sporting, Cold Weather, Sport Touring, Sport Biking

Sedici Lorenzo boots work for me
I'd recommend trying them on if possible before you buy. They are Italian and run very small. I usually wear an 11 but got 13s from the store. They feel great and I have worn them all day with no problems.

I tried on some Bilt waterproof boots when I bought these (I'd intended to get those) but ended up paying the extra for the Sedici's because they were so much more comfortable. The dogs do not bark with these babies!

I've worn them in all-day rains and they kept my feet dry and toasty. I'll echo other comments and will say they can be small on the calfs as well. Best if you can try them on before buying to get them right. The only problem I have is finding the end of my kickstand when I stop...I have to search for it a little, but that's a nit compared to everything. I can't comment on the durability yet. I've ony had the boots about 6 months or so and only needed to wear them twice (drought in North Texas!). In my opinion, these boots are made for ridin'!

PROS: Good Traction, Stylish, Ample Padding, Lightweight, Comfortable Fit, Weather Resistant

BEST USES: Long Rides, Bad Weather

Don't let them fool you
These boots don't break in. I was told to wear them for a while and they would. Well, it's been a while and the still have not broken in. Tried to return them, and the best they could do was offer me 50% of the cost of these boots toward a new pair. What happened to lifetime gurantee/100% satisfaction gurantee? That was one of the reasons why I bought from cycle gear. Now I'm not so sure anymore.

PROS: Cheap, Lightweight, Weather Resistant

CONS: Cheap

Nope- Not water proof
Not good for more than about 2 hrs in the rain. Not nice to put these back on the next day when they haven't dried out.

PROS: Good Cushioning, Comfortable

CONS: Not waterproof

BEST USES: Travel, Cold Weather, Dry travel

Did not last 6 months
The good:
They fit well, looks great, kept me warm and dry.

The bad:
The felt great at the store, but during the first ride, the over lapping leather started to irratate, so now I only zip up half way and close with velco, don't get them if you have calfs, fine for chicken legs.

The Ugly:
After 6 months of daily commuting, they're starting to come apart, the sole at the left heel has a hole from putting down the kick stand.

The shank on my left boot clicks when I walk to and from my boot (have not wore it any other time except for riding).

The "logo" at the both heels are coming off.

The adhesive on the left boot is coming undone when the sole flexes.

PROS: Comfortable, Good Cushioning, Warm

CONS: Wear Out Quickly, Poor Quality

BEST USES: Casual Wear, Wet Weather, Cold Weather

Mmmm, not so much...
CG's satisfaction policy is awesome but the quality of these boots is not. I'm on my 3rd pair. The 1st pair developed cracks in the leather after 3 months (not exactly weatherproop anymore) and were replaced in a relatively hassle-free manner. 2nd pair soles wore rapidly and the right one began to seperate between leather flexible synthetic material at the "bend" of the boot (I suppose from walking in them?) until these too, were replaced quickly and hassle-free. Of note, the right boot (2nd pair) fit VERY tight compared to the 1st pair. 3rd pair is in use now. I'll keep you posted if I ever uncross my fingers ;) Incidentally, while I was trying on the 3rd pair, the right boot felt tight too, so I grabbed another right boot and tried it on only to completely remove the zipper from it's seam as I zipped it up. It literally came off in my hand on the first attempt! Naturally, I told the clerk I'd stick with the tightie rightie. So, the quarantee is fantastic. The service is average. The boot is terrible.

CONS: Wears Easily
