This just WORKS!!!
Folks, here in Las Vegas it's brutal 4 mos/yr at 95-115 every day. Sitting behind a touring windscreen doesn't do anything to help matters. I"ve tried "coolVests", pouring bottled water on me while driving, UnderArmour, all pretty much an exercise in futility. So tried these; long sleeve top & long johns last weekend with little expectation of anything other than a great introductory price.
WOW what a surprise! Spent about 5 hours in 94+ degrees from AZ to LV, half highway speed, half stop & go through paving work. (I said brutal, right?)

I was wearing a FGear Textile jacket (having less than perfect venting) and JRocket mesh pants. End result... yes I was hot, but not unbearable to the point of calling it quits. In fact, I've done this run before and know I couldn't have kept going this time without this gear. Final note... My wife on the pillion chose not to wear this gear. Guess who's been down with heatstroke for the last 2 days after a visit to the ER? She's paying attention NOW!

Sizing is VERY important! These must fit like a second skin to work right. Whatever size you think fits...try one size smaller! Compression & complete contact is the key. You'll get used to it. Try them on and just walk across the room without any other gear... the first time there's a breath of air against you... it's like wow, that's nice.

Definitely Works
First off let me say I got a 2XL because I had the Freeze Out version and it feels too small but this Heat Out shirt is right on. Anyway it does work but needs wind (any wind) to work so Heat Out gear + mesh gear = Success!

PROS: Comfortable, Breathable

CONS: Needs Air To Work

Just keep moving
It requires serveral adjustments to get it on and get comfortable. It is tighter than normal spandex. If your an ape, as in hairy, this thing might drive your skin crazy initially. Try to wear it for a bit before you rip it off like a man on fire. The skin will adjust to it after a few minutes. Once the skins surface reaches temp this second-skin shirt starts doing it's job, immdiately sapping away heat in waves and evaporating sweat. Evaporation is critical to managing body temp. If you can adjust to this material it will become a well used tool. Other tops like this that are made for sports cost twice to three times as much. Quality may be a concern. I have noticed one small hole at the seam in the left arm pit. So far it isn't ripping. I have not taken it back to the store because they don't have any more in my size and it is still working. I wear a medium at 5'8" and 165 lbs. this thing is tight. It feels like wrestling with an xsmall when pulling it on and adjusting it. The arms are to long for me but the rest fits correctly so I just fold the cuffs back. Once it is on and fitted it feels ok. It does take quite a few mini adjustments to get the thing fitted so be patient. The payoff is worth it. I will report back on quality later but for [$] dollars I don't stand to lose much. I have ordered two more short sleeve tops and two more pair of the shorts online because the stores are out of stock.

Cools well, can't handle being removed.
I wore this maybe 4 times in some high Florida temps and I felt cooler than when I had on UnderArmour stuff. I went to pull it off one day and the seam on the forearm blew out pulling the cuff over my wrist. 3in rip before I knew it. Won't be ordering another.

PROS: Breathable, Stylish, Comfortable

CONS: Weak stitching, Flimsy

Great fit, looks good, works as promised
I use this top underneath a breathable jacket. I think it's a great top to invest in becuase it looks really good and delivers what it says it will do, which is give the rider a good base to wear. The only downside for me is that I have a small female frame and the sleeves are a bit long. But, I usually struggle with that with most clothes. I also like this top because it's multifunctional in that I am able to use it when I am participating on other outdoor activities (camping, hiking, etc). Great buy!

Sweat, what sweat??
I recently bought this and I must say that I was quite pleased. I know it's more ideal to wear under a textile jacket but wearing it under my leather one seemed to work just fine. I had to leave little bit of the top of the jacket itself open but was only a minor thing. It was so comfortable that I wore it under my work shirt in a office with no windows and one fan but it kept me relatively cool. Although it soaked up a lot sweat, I usually wear a shirt underneath. The only real negative thing I can point out is it is quite flimsy and very difficult to get off without threat of ripping. Other than that, the product is great!

Wash before wearing
Check the smell before you buy. The treatment they use smells like very strong DEET with an oily petroleum mixed in. Some people (like me) appear to be alergic to this. The smell washes out after a few washings, along with some of the dye. Don't wash initially with anything else unless you want it dyed black.

Otherwise, they are fine.

Great Product
I bought this to wear under my leathers at a recent track day where the temps were supposed to be in the low 100's.

I put this on before I went to the tech inspection, and felt instantly cooler. As the mercury rose, I kept the same level of cool on the track, and was the most comfortable I have ever been in that much heat.

I did catch one of the sleeves on the velcro from my back protector, and I did get a little bit of pull, but that is my fault, not that of the product.

Cool, comfy & sexy
This top delivers. It does run small, but that's because it's supposed to be form fitting to wick away any perspiration and keep you cool. The top is cool to the touch. Very lightweight and comfortable. I'm a lady rider and it keeps me looking sexy and trendy. Very tough material, yet breathable. The price is right too. Considering getting the short sleeve top for warmer weather here in AZ. You will not be disappointed with this top. Ride safe.

how easy is it to slide a suit on or off while wearing this shirt?
Kent H on Jul 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Effortless. This thing fits like a second skin and I don't wear my suits without it. Word of caution though...these things rip pretty easily. I'm on my way to a third one in just over a year! I have a long sleeve and a short sleeve including the bottoms and they have all ripped.
