So many winter or heated gloves I have tried were like oven mitts with no feel for the controls. These are still not like sport gloves but considering how warm they are they are positively thin. the fingers fit fine but the thumb was a little long. I wear a 3XL so it is often difficult to get a good fit.
These gloves heat the whole hand (top and bottom) some only do the top. I ride everyday rain or shine. These gloves are better than heated grips. I ride a Harley and the Harley grips are subpar for a heated grip. These gloves make heated grips pointless. They are very comfortable and very well made - better than any glove I've ever had and I've had many in my 20 years of riding. They are very well constructed offering knuckle protection. They look better than other heated gloves and the leather is soft so it feels broken in when you put them on. They are better than Hotwired because those only heat the top part of the hand. I love these gloves. I rated it a 3 for airflow, but I dont want a lot of airflow in a heated glove. That defeats the purpose. I don't own any of their other gear yet. I will buy the heated jacket liner in the future and review that as well .
I love these gloves! Bought them last fall and they're almost too hot without a controller. I can ride with temps in low 20s and my hands are toasty warm! The left one stopped working so I called Cycle Gear and they gave me a brand new pair no hassle at all! My next heated gear purchase will be the Gerbing jacket liner and dual controller.
Ordered on 10/17 since they were 50% off (paid $119). Two months later they just stopped working (used them for six weeks; maybe two dozen wears??). AND, now the full price is $150??? Besides a crappy product, Cyclegear is playing games with their “sale” prices?? Very disappointing.
