Bottom line, if you have a more compact, powerful build these will be great; if you are a taller person I would pass.
PROS: Warm, Work as advertised
CONS: Not the best quality, Don't fit quite right
My local Cycle Gear store was fine taking them back and said there were numerous complaints about the bad fit. I assume they are cut and sewn overseas. Somewhere where people have nothing in front and nothing in the rear, because no matter how you try they will not pull up to your waist - the "rise" is too short.
That said, what they do cover, they keep warm as advertised. I'm waiting for Cycle Gear to get them recut to American specs.
PROS: Warm, Price On Sale, Lightweight
CONS: Ultra Short Rise, Horrible Fit
Second, the seams are weak. The first time I pulled these on the waist band ripped. I didn't tug these on like I was playing tug 'o war with my feet, I pulled them up like I would a normal pair of thermals. Apparently I'm asking too much.
Bottom line, the idea was brilliant but the execution sucks. I would hope that Cycle Gear would field test these things before pushing them so hard. I have grown to trust Cycle Gear and their recommendations over the years but this time I think they dropped the ball. If they can get the manufacturer to fix these defects I think they will have a great product on their hands but in the meantime I wouldn't waste the time or money in trying these out.

I take meticulous care of them, never putting them in the dryer, washing in an HE front loader. For the price, worth buying several sets.
I wear these under my slacks, even below 32F.
A definate "must have", for any REAL rider, that rides in any weather.
