It was during the two days of my trip from Seattle back Eureka CA that this suit really shined. I was rained on the entire time with temperatures from the high 30s to the low 40s. Both days, I got to my hotel and took off the suit warm and dry even after 12 hours in the saddle in light to pouring rain.
If you ride in cooler climates or rain, I would certainly recommend this jacket/pants combination.
PROS: Comfortable, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
BEST USES: Long Rides, Safety, Bad Weather
The layers are easy to add/remove from the jacket- just make sure to fasten the sleeves back into the arms near the cuffs or you'll pull them out when you take the jacket off. (I made that mistake once.)
If I had to complain about the jacket, I'd note how little reflective material there is. Small detail strips on the arms, chest, neck and lower back is about the extent of it. I think the jacket could have handled a little more without becoming too ridiculous. Either way, there are certainly ways to add that yourself, or just toss on a vest for low-light riding.
That's just being nitpicky though. This is a great, comfortable jacket that can change to meet your needs. It has plenty of storage, insulated hand pockets, plenty of internal and external storage, and a great look.

PROS: Stylish, Comfortable
I am getting it for those summer hot days as a second jacket that lets more air in than my Transitoin III.
I had to exchange it because the measuring chart says Medium is up to 42, that seems to be without the liners.
Altough (M) was a little snugg the line of the jacket looks good, the mesh will be gold in the 90+F days, and it even had a compartment in the back for a hydration bladder in addition to all the pockets around.
Protection is average, the elbow and shoulder pads are ok, the back is not, thin and I doubt it do anything but It can be replaced with a CE armor
all in all, I recommend it as a second jacket
PROS: Comfortable, Stylish
BEST USES: Warm Weather, Long Rides
The overall quality appears to be very good. I was impressed.
The armor is loose fitting in the pockets and can move around. I suggest the rider use Velcro to hold them in place (for your particular body). It makes a difference.
The jacket is a summer jacket BUT with the 2 zip-in liners, one for water and 1 for insulation it makes for quite a versatile product. If these 2 additions really work well the rating goes to 5.
PROS: Weather Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Abrasion Resistant
BEST USES: Safety, Long Rides, Bad Weather
The elbow and shoulder pads are sufficient for most riding, but the back pad is just a thin piece of foam. You can upgrade the back pad to offer better spine protection.
While some might say the fit is a little too snug, I say it's just perfect. I feel very comfortable at high speeds. Nothing is flapping around, which is something I absolutely hate.
PROS: Well Insulated, Comfortable, Abrasion Resistant, Weather Resistant
BEST USES: Safety, Casual Wear, Bad Weather, Warm Weather, Long Rides
My only cons are it is too warm to wear during the spring and summer. Great for winter/fall.
PROS: Well Insulated, Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Weather Resistant
CONS: Too Heavy, Doesn't Breathe
BEST USES: Safety, Bad Weather, Long Rides
