Very glad I had them!!
bought the pants, jacket. helmet and gloves as a package deal. Also bought Bilt boots to go with it all and really glad I did, because unfortunately I got to test them out 2 wks later while riding in wet sprinkley weather I touched the center yellow line and instantly face planted at 55 mph on windy roads in the mountains. I got a broken arm for that little lesson, but the good news is that my new riding gear came out of it with VERY minimal abrasion marks, 1 broken zipper on the pants, just a couple of small abrasion tears on the jacket, 2 little paint nicks on the jaw cover part my helmet, and my boots don't really look like they scraped the ground too badly considering I slid a good 50-75 ft. However, the road was wet so that helped in not chewing up my gear. when it was all said and done I had a broken arm but not so much as a single scratch on me anywhere!!! So that's good! Best $400.00 I've spent in a long time and my gear is still perfectly useable and in great shape.

P.S. DON'T TOUCH THE YELLOW LINES....ESPECIALLY WHEN WET!!! VERY PAINFUL(and embarrassing!!)

Great Pants, Great Price
Loved the delivery, ordered a size 42 waist which is what i wear, but it was too big, had to return it for credit. I got a size 40 instead, took me a couple of emails to get the return slip but no biggie.

Poor Fit
While overall these are nice pants, I really dislike the fact that I have to hold them up or do the entire zip around. I wear size 38 pants, so that is what I bought and the pants are SO big I have to hold them up, the velcro fasteners are a good idea but making the connector too short is a problem, I cannot pull them tight enough to get a proper fit because they run out of attachment space or the belt loop is in the way. So it looks like the only option is attaching them to the coat, which is a problem when you want to take the coat off at a stop.

PROS: Weather Resistant, Comfortable, Well Insulated

CONS: Poor Fit

Great pants, best value, for daily riders.
I bought these pants along with the accompanying Bilt jacket in the beginning of May 2017. My motorcycle is my daily commuter, rain or shine; to school, work, etc. So I've used these pants nearly everyday since. So it rained nearly the entire month of May; it's June now, and it's still raining. I can confidently wear these pants and stay 95% dry. Everything stays dry EXCEPT my crotch area. Now I don't know if it's because I've taken out the inner layer for cold-weather riding or not, but I do happen to get wet down there. Besides that, on 50 some degree days and nights, I stay warm. On 70-80 some degree days, the air vents keep me cool. There's plenty of protective padding, and secure pockets. They're also comfortable and fit true to size with wiggle room. If I'm not wearing them on my ride, I can easily fold them up and store them in my bookbag to carry with me, just in case. For my first motorcycle pants I'm truely satisfied; aside from my crotch area getting wet in the rain.

The pants are sized too big. I'm a 38-40 waist but am swimming in these in 36. I know they're "overpants" and they were over pants!

CONS: Poor Fit, Difficult to Clean

Great matching pant for the Vortex Jacket.
Riding K1600GTL. The pants are long and a little bulky. I have a 34" waist and short legs 28" inseam, but with the closure around the bottom of the pant legs, I do not have any problem with the bottoms of the pants dragging the ground. They are great when in the riding position but the knee pads are too low. (On a positive note, the pads kept my shins protected). A little adjustability of the knee pads would be nice, also, I would have liked a shorter version of the pant to be offered.

The pockets are deep enough to store all of the stuff I usually carry with me, have water proof linings and are easy to access. I'm confident anything I keep in my pockets will stay in my pockets and will arrive dry and safe. I would definitely purchase these again, even with the length and knee guard problems, they are worth the money.

Those pants are wonderful!
Thos pants have been a part of the package. And I think the pants are the best part in the package. Everything is adjustable. Its warm. I rode my bike tonight at 32degrees. It felt warm and comfortable.
Once the weather gets warm again, and here in Memphis it gets more hot than warm, I will see how its working when all the vents are open and the liner is removed.I love all the pockets for the small stuff I carry all the time :-)

The only thing to keep in mind is that those pants are BIG. I normally wear a 40. But here I fit in a 36 without problems. Just order smaller than you normally would.

Great pair of pants!
Very comfortable and provides good coverage. I am 6'1" and pants can run a bit short in riding position. Much more comfortable that my significantly more expensive pants from a high end Italian company. Only downside is that they run a little warm but that could be me as I am always a little warm.

Great cool weather pants
Great pair of pants. These pants were very heavy and warm. I used them with the liner in the mountains when it was around 40-50 degrees. Once we dropped down into the valley and temps heated up to about 80 they became too hot, even without the liner. If you are riding in temps much warmer than 80 degrees or a large variation of temps get the mesh version of these pants pants instead.

Do these pants have a short connection zipper? Description indicates a short connection zipper. In the store I only saw the all around zipper.

BEST ANSWER: I wear a large jacket and large pant. The zipper that connects the jacket and pant is 27" long. I've only connected the two once, I haven't found it necessary to connect to get full coverage. Also, I use suspenders to hold up the pants.
