Great product!
Purchased these for my son who has been riding for a year and was wearing sneakers. He loves these shoes! He says they are just like Chucks. The toe cover makes shifting easier. The zipper on the side is his favorite part, no more tying shoes. As his father, I love the protection that is built in. They are a win win for this household. Son's quote: "They are dope af."

These are the best shoes ever!
With the side zipper (my absolutely favorite feature of this product), it's so convenient to put on or take off.
The design and looks, to me, are the best I've ever seen. They are the most casual looking shoes ever. No one can tell they are "motorcycle shoes". I think they're the best looking, too. The logos aren't too flashy; nicely placed in the right places. Though there are other manufacturers that do have similar style shoes at this product's level, I can't find a reason to spend more for them, especially without the convienient side zipper.
I can't find a single flaw about these shoes...I really can't. I hope Bilt makes more of these later. Looks like they are being closed out now. They don't have my size anymore.

Dexter shoe
Great motorcycle shoes for warm weather. I would probably wear a leather boot in cold weather. These shoes fit true to size. I wear a 13 in all shoes and 13 in this shoe is a great fit. Cant comment on durability as I have not owned them for very long. Looks like they would offer decent protection in a spill as well. I got them while they were on sale and so should you, You wont find a better shoe for the price.

Narrow and flat
Very long and narrow, my normal size I have about inch and a half left in the toe area but the width is almost too tight. Just very narrow and long shoe and extremely flat inside. Definitely need some cushion insoles of some type. I like the zipper side entry easy to get on and off and Velcro is sturdy, price is great. Very durable shifter area not a scratch or dent after 20 rides. 3/5 probably replace sooner than later.

PROS: Cheap

great riding shoe with ce protection
when it comes to purchasing riding gear you can shell out the big bucks and rest assured that by in large you will pretty much get what you pay for in a supra $150.00 product. I may have found the diamond in the rough with the Bilt Dexter boot. I walked into cycle gear and compared this riding shoe priced at $79.00 to several others in the sub $100.00 dollar range as well as a few in the $150-$200 range. I was looking for CE protection in a riding shoe that could also be comfortable enough to wear after I park my bike. without a doubt this could be accomplished for a price but to my surprise the Dexter shoe has all these attributes plus water resistance. I took them home and they are perfect. comfortable, stylish, and protection at the toe, the heel, and Malleolus. in short...I am very happy with this riding shoe.

Great Value at a Great Price
I recently went down and had on a pair of high top basketball sneakers. Luckily, the only lower extremity injury that I suffered to my feet and ankle was a few scratches on my ankle. However, since my accident was one caused by a bad repair job and not actual riding or driver interaction I was able to anticipate my fall. I knew that going forward I should invest in a riding shoe that offered both protection and style. This shoe offers both! Your ankle bone is well protected and so are your toes. The addition of the reflective back adds a little visibility for those riding at night or in darker locations. If you're flat footed like myself I would strongly encourage you to re-lace your shoe and visit your local shoemaker to have the shoe widen. For the price that you're paying this shoe is well worth every dollar! I would and will purchase again.

Great shoes for summer!
Great shoes for summer riding here in Texas! Decent protection for heel and ankle support. Zippers work well and are necessary. Laces are the correct length after tied. I recommend always tucking them into the shoe though. You don't want to get them caught in the chain or around the shifter or brake. With my pair I received, and this may be normal, but the right shoe (braking shoe) has the hardened toe area for up-shifting and the left shoe which I actually use to shift up with has the soft toe support. To me it's backwards. I would rather have the hard support for the shifter side. That's just me though. Walking in them is just like a pair of Converse Chucks. Flat footed with a thin insole. Recommend swapping that out to a good insole. Other than that...for $40 you can't go wrong to get through the summer heat. Sure beats wearing leather boots year round.

Are they steel-toe?
A C on Sep 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The toe is reinforced, but not steel-toe. For a primary boot/shoe, I went with something more protective. But other than that, very good quality and very comfortable without any breaking in. Also it's really easy to get on and off for a quick trip with the zipper on the side. Hope that helps.
Would these be good to wear when you are not riding?Or are they strictly riding shoes?
A shopper on Feb 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are good shoes to wear around even if not riding. I live in the city so I love them because they're just like a pair of sneakers. They only thing I have done was swap out the insoles to a more comfortable set. They are great shoes if you get on and off the bike frequently, for example going out, shopping, or to a place where you will be walking around but have commuted on the bike.
How warm are these in cooler weather? Do they "breathe through"? By colder, I mean into the 40s.
A shopper on Oct 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I can not answer that question completely as I have not had the chance to wear them in 40 degree weather. However I have ridden in 60 and mid 50 degree days and they work fine. The uppers are padded and lightly insulated and I think with a decent sock you would have no problem in 40 degree weather.
what if they don't fit? can I exchange them at the store?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I did.
