Sizing Note: Tech-Air 10 is best worn with a one or two piece riding suit - a leather suit needs to be Tech-Air ready or have 4cm of room in the torso and 2cm of room in the hips. Tech-Air 10 can also be used with textile jacket/pants combos, but not with a tight fitting belt.

Comprehensive Coverage
The Tech-Air 10 System is a slim, self-contained wearable airbag suit that provides upper and lower body protection. It is designed to be worn under any Alpinestars Tech-Air Ready or Tech-Air Compatible leather suit, or any third-party leather suit with 4 cm of space around the circumference of the rider’s chest and 2 cm of room around the circumference of the rider’s hips. The additional space for the chest and hips is necessary to accommodate the inflation of the airbag.
Next Generation Technology
The Tech-Air 10 System features 12 integrated sensors (3 accelerometers plus 1 gyroscope) to continuously monitor the rider’s position. This is combined with an algorithm developed closely using MotoGP race data and data from over 2,000 lab-simulated crash scenarios. The result is a state-of-the-art combination that allows the Tech-Air 10 to determine precisely when and how the airbag should be deployed.
The airbag has a maximum inflation time of up to 40ms (or less, depending on vest size). Inflation time is quick enough to fully deploy the airbag before impact. The Tech-Air 10 provides up to a 95% decrease in impact force compared to passive protectors.
Bluetooth Ready
The airbag boasts a battery capable of 24 hours of riding time on a single charge. A belt mounted LED system allows you to monitor the operational status at a glance. Alpinestars includes a micro USB charger for quick recharging.
The suit utilizes Bluetooth to connect directly with the Tech-Air App. This uses the rider’s phone to display the system’s operational status, remaining battery life and provide a detailed analysis of your session. Over-the-air firmware updates are also handled through the app.
