Suzuki is pulling out of MotoGP (again) and the World Endurance Championship in spite of its success at the highest levels of competition. In addition to pulling away from racing efforts, Suzuki hasn’t released many new models in recent years, and the new bikes Suzuki does roll out are closely based on previous designs. The HS/LS hosts discuss Suzuki’s role in the world of motorcycling, how the brand has changed over time, and what we might see next from the brand.
News from earlier this week points to a future parallel-twin engine that might power some truly new Suzuki motorcycles, and there’s even the possibility of a turbo option. Will Suzuki attempt a revitalization within the next couple years, or will it stick to its usual course?
