Zack and Spurgeon discuss the touchy subject of impostor motorcycles. By their definition, these are motorcycles that pretend to be one thing, but are actually meant to do something else, or are built on platforms developed for other intentions. Need some examples? Yamaha gussied up the Bolt cruiser with knobby tires and a flat seat to create the scrambler-styled SCR950.
Impostor motorcycles aren’t necessarily bad motorcycles. They just aren’t what they appear to be. Some look tame, but are surprisingly fast. Others hide gentle performance behind an aggressive exterior. Special guest Ari Henning joins Highside/Lowside’s hosts to pull back the curtain on some controversial machines.
