Triumph’s tech overhaul lets customers to watch their bike being built
Triumph is investing in new data technologies to streamline their business and bring new benefits to the customer. The changes will allow increased customization of motorcycles, better tracking of custom-ordered models, and, my favorite, streamable “video feeds showing the progress of their custom-made bikes as they are assembled in the factory.”

Uh, what? “Serial dirty-diaper dumper caused a motorcycle crash,” brought to justice
A 68-year-old New Jersey man was charged last week with dropping soiled diapers around local roadways. His months-long spree claimed at least one motorcyclist, who sustained injuries and totaled his bike in June. Stay classy, New Jersey.

BMW motorcycle from sunken ship becomes art installation
In 2007, the MSC Napoli went down in a storm off the coast of Dorset. Artist Christian Kosmas Mayer sought out the stories from that night, as well as the treasures the storm brought locals. “Those three men still live around there and consider that night one of the best nights they ever had.”

Rumors about the powerplant are running wild, with new information suggesting a V-twin around 830 cc. Supposedly, Polaris and RE parent company Eicher Motors quietly collaborated on an engine as part of an alliance deal.
Video: Goose takes out a motorcycle at Phillip Island
