It's time for episode six of season eight of the Highside/Lowside podcast and Spurgeon hasn't been this excited since his Uncle Bob gave him an unauthorized ride on his KLR600 when Spurg was 12.
That's because Spurgeon not only got to meet his all-time favorite motorcycle writer, but also interview him for the podcast. Peter Egan, known for writing columns for many years for Cycle World (and Road & Track, for the car fans), joins his biggest fan, Spurg, and co-host Zack, for this episode. Topics include how he got his first motorcycle ride (it involves hitchhiking and a stranger on a Harley-Davidson, believe or not), how he got started writing, and many of his other experiences from a time when motorcycles were more popular and magazines were thick, printed on paper, and profitable.
