This episode of the Highside/Lowside podcast is titled "Motorcycles that changed history," but it just as easily could have been called "A few random motorcycles that three guys on a podcast think you should know about." A more accurate title, yes, but also undeniably less catchy.
Joining your regular hosts, Spurgeon and Zack, is Common Tread Managing Editor Lance Oliver. All three choose two motorcycles they think are significant, and it ends up being quite an eclectic selection. That's why the podcast is not intended to be the definitive word on the most significant motorcycles in all of two-wheeled history, but rather a few subjective choices of bikes that played a role in countersteering the direction of motorcycling one way or another in the past. Some of their choices for the discussion are models you'd probably never guess.
As always, they also play the motorcycle sound guessing game (a deviously difficult test this time), give away some T-shirts, and there's even birthday cake involved. So dial up the YouTubes or tune into your favorite podcast delivery mechanism and listen to episode 10 of season seven of Highside/Lowside.
