EICMA, the Esposizione Mondiale de Motociclismo, is where motorcycle manufacturers pull the sheets off their most important new models and gear-makers try to capture a share of attention from the assembled media with their innovations.
TeamZilla has boots on the ground in Milan, scoping out new products and also bringing news of the unveilings to Common Tread. The show is open to the media and the industry on Tuesday and Wednesday before opening to the general public on Thursday.
News will start flowing later today, as a few companies have planned pre-show announcements. As always, Common Tread aims to curate the news and bring the best and most important, not just regurgitate everything that's printed in a news release. We'll pick out the most important new motorcycles for your consideration and skip over the "new" models with innovations like "a two mm shorter cotter pin on the rear axle nut for reduced unsprung mass."
