Since 2009, the Moto series of films has explored and celebrated what’s possible on dirt bikes.
The Moto Co world now includes 10 films, featuring dozens of riders and a heavy focus on cinematic excellence. Its creators are looking to push the envelope yet again with their newest effort, "This is Moto."
"This is Moto" promises to “immerse the viewer into the lives of eight of the world’s top riders, each their own individual.” Camerawork promises to be outstanding, as always, and the few teasers we have show plenty of slick drone footage. While the premise — people doing incredible stuff on dirt bikes — remains the same as the rest of the Moto series, there are a few special things to watch for with "This is Moto."
First, The Moto Co has teamed up with the Road 2 Recovery foundation to support athletes who’ve seen the ugly side of riding via a crash or other injury. Also, "This is Moto" will be shown at several special screenings before release to the public during a premiere tour. You can see the entire tour lineup here.
