The fall motorcycle show season begins today as the press is invited into the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. Tomorrow, the doors open to the general public.
That means many new models will be unveiled, though we'll have to wait for others until the EICMA show in Italy next month. We may even see something new at the AIMExpo in the United States, though the biennial Intermot and annual EICMA shows are the dominant venues.
Check back later today and tomorrow as we roll out information on the most interesting new models to get excited (or disappointed) about. Those glowing exhaust pipes above, for example. That's an image taken from Honda's teaser video for its new CBR1000RR. So are you excited that Honda will finally bring out a liter-class sport bike with a full array of electronics to catch up with the competition, or were you one of the hopeful diehards expecting a new V4 superbike platform to go forth and slay Panigales and Ninjas in the Superbike World Championship?
