Trackside motorcycle carrier
I used this for a vacation road trip to get my 07 Honda CBR1000RR to my vacation destination which was 500 miles and everything worked perfect.

PROS: Stable, Not A Trailer, Good price, 500 Lbs Capacity

CONS: Can't Open Trunk

Awesome product
Solid, well built, great price. Used this on the back of my Honda Ridgeline to haul my XR650R up to mammoth and back, 900 miles all together. I think the guy below that said you cant use this for sportbikes cause it bounces around hasn't used a hitch carrier before. All hitch carriers will move a bit and bounce around, even with a stabilizer, and they CAN be used for sportbikes as long as it is sub 500 lbs, The movement can look sketchy, but it is normal for these types of carriers. Use quality tie downs, but that goes for any carrier of this type.

The ramp is a bit narrow for my meaty IRC M5B 140 rear tire, but I still have zero problems getting it up the ramp.

Good idea. Poor construction
Easy to assemble. No need to remove camper top or tow a trailer. Easy to load bike by yourself. Although, the first use the welded slot that holds the ramp to the carrier broke off. Luckily I have a welder and made the repair myself. Also the ramp has a tendency to flip over and fall off if the rear tire is not perfectly aligned while loading. I intend to pin it somehow to correct this. Also the ramp needs an anti-slip coating if the ground is wet as the tire will spin during loading.

PROS: Leave The Trailer At Home, Easy to load bike

CONS: Poor Welding, Bike Gets Dirty Easy, Ramp Problems

Exactly as expected
Takes a little time to put together but worth it. Solid even on rough dirt roads cars cant drive down. Bike stayed put with 4 tie downs and 2 wheel straps as recomended. Lower then my tailgate so its very easy to push up. Worth the money!

PROS: Secure, Easier Then A Trailer, easy to load

CONS: none

Great product and great price
Got this to carry my dual sport and sport bikes. Its not really designed for sport bikes and their fat rear wheels and they said that up front but it worked. The ramp could use some type of lock pin to keep it stable.

PROS: Excellent Price On Sale, Easy to assemble, Good Load Rating At 500lb

CONS: Ramp Needs A Lock Pin

Great overall for quality and price
Assembly took a little while. put together while watching a little t.v. Pretty well made and easy to figure out. Purchased on sale and for the price you can not beat it. I have a lifted truck so I get sick of loading my bikes in the back and I also have a bed cover I dont feel like taking on and off so this was my solution. Pop right in the hitch and strap the bike on and off you go. The only thing I would like to have is a longer loading ramp since it comes with a rather short one. So since my truck has about a 6inch lift on it the ramp is pretty steep making it not so fun to shove the bike up on the ramp, still easier than throwing them up in the bed and having to take my bed cover off. Hope this helps everyone and happy riding!

PROS: Well Made, Great price, Easy storage

CONS: Short Loading Ramp

Good for the money
Walked into store, bought it, carried it out. Took about 45 mins to assemble.

PROS: Light Weight, Cheap Cost, Does the job, Easy to assemble

CONS: Ramp Falls Off Easily, Not the strongest

Decent carrier
This carrier is decent and was only purchased because the price is so low. Assembly is simple and the carrier is sturdy. The anti-vibration/movement mechanism is not ideal as it moves around if the locking pin is not in place. The only major complaint is the included ramp. The ramp is too narrow for the rear tire of my bike and does not stay put on the edge if the carrier while trying to load. I resorted to lifting my bike onto the carrier until I had a new wider ramp built. The bike and tires are not abnormally large as it is a KX450F with Dunlop MX51's.

PROS: Quick and easy

CONS: Ramp Not Wide Enough

So far so good!
I bought this because i was tired of pulling my trailer every time I wanted to moto.
It took about 20 minutes to assemble, and seemed pretty solid. The only complaint i
Have is, the anti sway insert should be welded into the shaft. Its not really that big of a deal, but it would make lining up the bolt/pin much easier.

What is the weight of this carrier including the part that inserts into the hitch?
A C on Jul 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I will buy this if it just weighs 15.5 lbs. Let me know if this is true
How long is it?
A shopper on Dec 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I measured it after assembly and I don't remember exactly, but I believe it's just an inch or two over the length of my pickup bed. So I'm thinking around 80" long. It will fit assembled in the back of my bed if I turn it slightly sideways.
Can I pick it up at the store?
