Below is a step-by-step guide on how to properly use the kit.

Step 1:

Upon opening the kit, reviewing the instructions to familiarize yourself with all the parts and tools provided is key to successfully complete breaking off your chain.

Knowing the correct size pin to use for your respective chain is an important step to use the tool correctly.

Step 2:

Grind away. Grinding down the pins on your chain will allow the tool to easily and properly push out the pins. Make sure the outer portion has been completely removed to avoid any breaking or bending of the tool itself.

Step 3:

Once the chain's outer portion of the pin has been ground down, you're ready to use the chain breaker tool. Be sure the pin is properly lined up with the chain's pin to remove. Take your time with it and add a little grease so everything goes smoothly.

Step 4:

You did it! Following all these steps will successfully complete your chain breaking journey.
