Built for the needs of long-distance adventuring, Shad Terra Side Cases feature forged aluminum construction, stainless steel hinges and locking mechanisms as well as a robust case-to-rack latching system. Unlike other side case latching designs that use a key-hole-and-nail-head approach, Terra cases grab onto the over-sized steel tubing of Shad 4P series racks with an array of C-channels for better engagement and load distribution. Another unique feature of Terra cases is the clam shell opening. TR36 Side Cases give a rider instant access to their packed gear instead of having to unload things from the top. Terra Cases use a single lock cylinder to open and close the case and disconnect the case from its rack. 

To preserve symmetry and handling, this TR36 Side Case is intended to be installed on the exhaust side of a motorcycle as it has a shallower depth than the TR47 Side Case.
