Sena smh10 is awesome
I have the SMH10 mounted in my Shoei and the sound is great for the size speakers. It's plenty loud going over 100mph on my sport bike. Phone calls have some windo noise but I relocated small mic under the cheap pad instead of in the open and it resolved that issue. Battery last FOREVER.

PROS: Battery Life, Easy To Install, price, Easy to use

CONS: Some Wind Noise

Loud enough, sounds good for music and books at 85mph
I mostly use this for music. It is loud enough and sounds good enough to listen to audiobooks on the freeway. Music sounds good too.

I've had cardo, torx (3 sets), Bilt Techno, Do-it-yourselves.

The cardo worked but sounded terrible, the torx (all the $79 model with cord sounded good but were not loud enough and the cords would wear our every 4-6 months), bilt techno (returned - knob kept breaking) was loud enough mostly and sounded ok.

This is the best sounding and most convenient so far (well, maybe the Koss on-ear corded headphones that I took apart and mounted in my helmet sounded better).

I definitely recommend these, they are loud enough to listen to audiobooks at 85mph and music sounds pretty good too. Phone seems to work well but I've only used it once or twice at low spped.

PROS: Sounds good, works, Good for music

Great head set
Ok I have had my set fo 6 months. I'm on call for a hospital so when I'm cruising I have to take phone calls. At 90 mph a little hard to hear, at 75mph I can take calls. The music is loud; however their is little bass. I give this a 5 star because the cost to quality is outstanding. I drive a Yamaha stryker with very loud pipes. I think it is a great buy.

PROS: LOUD, Drowns Out My Pipes, Easy Controls

CONS: Not a lot of bass

BEST USES: Work 12 Miles, Cruiser With Vh Pipes, Use In Half Helmet

Sena SMH10
This will be my second SMH10 when it arrives, if it performs as well as my first I will be very happy with the product. I like the fact the new unit now has a separate volume control. The old one will go on my Arai helmet for my daughter with the new one going to my new Shoei helmet.

Missed the most imnportant thing....
Build quality - A+
Features - A
Looks - A+
Installation - A+
Packging - A+
Sound Quality - D-

EVERYTING is wonderful about this unit, as long as you don't have to actually listen to it. Or try and command your phone with it.

There is zero bass. Seriously. Zero. I don't want thumping music in my ears when I ride, by any means. But God's-honest-truth, this thing has sero bass and almost no midrange at all.
When you try and listen to music - I dare you - it is sooo shrill that it's painful.
I hate having to take these back, but I hate more the thought of trying to listen to anything through these speakers.
I've tried the foam inserts - no joy. I've tried taking the speakers out of the helmet and holding them right to my ears - no joy.
So regrettably, I am returning them.
I really don't like my Harley only having a wired connection, but the speakers sound far better. And least they are not painful to listen to.
YMMV. Peace!

PROS: Installation, price, Complete Conmponents, Software, Features, Build Quality

CONS: Sound quality, Almost No Midrange, Zero bass

After adjusting the earpieces he sound was a lot better, not as good as earbuds but not too bad. Phone calls are clear, and i could hear and be heard like i was standing still. I would buy them again.

PROS: Fitment, Calls are clear, price

CONS: Sound quality

I use this everyday
Music? Forget it!
Phone calls? Very clear... But only when you hear the damm thing ring.
And that's almost never!!

PROS: Phone, Install

CONS: Price, Music, Hearing It Ring

Like it BUT
I thought this would be a good unit based on reviews and i think it could be great but it doesnt work with my Galaxy S5 even with the firmware update. no google or S-voice. so i returned the product and got a new front tire instead. Get if you have an iphon i guess it works great with those.

PROS: Easy Install, easy to use, Loud Tinny Sound

CONS: long battery, No voice commands, Doesnt Work With Android
