Permatex's high-strength Red Threadlocker is a powerful solution to prevent hardware from loosening, eliminating the need for costly Nylock nuts or lock washers. This robust adhesive-style thread treatment not only locks and seals threaded parts securely, safeguarding against vibration-induced loosening or unwanted movement, but also offers reliable corrosion protection for extended durability. Its maximum strength, known as the "red" formula, provides steadfast resistance to disassembly and is perfect for larger nut and bolt applications ranging from 3/8" to 1" (10mm to 25mm). For smaller fasteners or less demanding conditions, Permatex's medium-duty Blue Threadlocker is recommended.
