2nd one!
Just replaced my six year old oxford with a brand new one the same size. The original one still works, just faded after 47K miles.
Holds my helmet if I want it to, but mostly I carry tools, rain gear and a small cooler for my water. The old one is still rain tight and will most likely get installed on my brothers bike. For the price I don't think you can beat this case.

Looks good but made cheaply
From a distance you would think it was a Givi or some other brand name case, but the thickness of the case is very thin. The locking mechanism is a simple hook latch that will lock every time you close the lid so do not leave your key in the case when it closes or you will need your spare.

The plastic part that the latch hooks on is very small and cheap. I imagine it will be the first thing to break. I already plan how to jury rig a fix. It is going on the bike I will be keeping in Germany so I will need to take the items to repair it with me or just go ahead and repair it now.

The latch needed to be adjusted when I got it so it would catch onto the small plastic mechanism. Don't try to just slam it closed hoping it will latch. This will only break the latch.

It was missing the long metal piece that the instructions said to use to connect it to the adapter plate. I didn't need it for my application so I wasn't too upset that the Chinese couldn't get that right.

It was easy to attach the adapter plate to my home-made aluminum rear rack. I simply drilled holes where I needed them and bolted it on. Placing the case onto the adapter plate is simple too. But I added 2 more bolts through the floor of the case to make it more sturdy. It impedes taking the case off quickly but I think it will also impede someone taking my case off quickly when I am not looking.

The red plastic thing on the rear is not even a functioning reflector! It's just a red piece of plastic. Oh, well.

I do not plan to keep anything of high value in the case while riding as it might easily crack and fall off or fall open while riding. It is good for keeping very light weight things like spare gloves, rain suit or cycle cover. Or it is good for stashing your helmet when you go in to grab a few beers at the pub.

Bottom line, good price, cheaply made, looks good until you see it on the side of the road with your stuff spread over creation in your rear view mirror.
