Pricey but worth every penny!
Motion Pro puts out a great chain breaker / riveter. I was never concerned that the tool would break on me it is made so well. It was a pleasure to work with this tool. It may be pricey but you do get what you pay for.

PROS: Very Robust, QUALITY PRODUCT, Ease of Use

CONS: Pricey

Good product
I've had this tool for a few years now, and we've installed new chains on my and several friends' bikes. I actually find it easier to grind the heads off the old master link, put a cold chisel between the plates, and tap. The plate will pop right off, and you can just tap the old link out with a punch. It's just more convenient if you're going to grind the heads off anyway.

Where this tool seriously shines in in riveting the new masterlink in place. If someone stole it, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I do recommend it to my friends, but they just keep borrowing mine ;)

I have use this tool several times and it works AWESOME !!

Make sure you put GREASE on the threads and it will be smooth and easy to push the pins out .

Dont try to go all at once go 1/2 turn then back off and go again .

The key to breaking large chains is to GRIND the heads off the master link before trying to push the pins out .....

When riveting measure the pin first then only go as large as the other pins on the chain are flared out .

TAKE your time just like when pushing the pins out and go only a 1/2 turn and then back off a bit ,

GREASE is your friend when doing chains , USE IT !!!

Happy at first then dissapointed.
I ordered the chain breaker about 2 months ago and due to an injury I couldn't use it until now. I have a 530 chain and as recommended I grinded the rivets down flush with the link. To my dissapointment the rivet is half way out of the link and the biggest pin break off. Stopped my whole job now I cant' ride until I find a cutter. I am satifised with the product but dissapointed with the pin quality.

PROS: Sturdy, Strong

CONS: Brittle pins
