While video resolutions are consistent with earlier models, offering up to 8K at 30fps, 5.7K at 60fps, and 4K at 120fps, the X5 leverages 11K supersampling to render crisper, more detailed footage, and utilizes advanced AI to further elevate its low-light video quality.

Addressing the realities of motorcycling adventures, the X5 introduces the convenience of user-replaceable lenses, a feature previously unseen in Insta360 cameras. It also carries an IP68 rating, designating it as exceptionally water-resistant, with protection in water up to 15 meters deep—making it a robust companion for wet conditions. The X5 offers extended recording times, up to 185 minutes at 5.7K/24fps in Endurance Mode. It can capture both 360° and standard videos simultaneously, thus simplifying content production. The camera's audio capture is also refined, benefiting from an upgraded microphone equipped with a multi-layer wind guard to mitigate wind noise and enhance sound clarity.
