Great track tire
3 Track days on R-1, tire stuck like glue looks like new still. Every other tire I have used is done for tack days after three times.(still road worthy) This tire felt better and lasted longer than my last tire a Q-3

PROS: Perfect Compound For Stre, Great handling

Best tires ever!!
My Yamaha FZ6R came with Bridgestone Battleax tires and let me tell you they are "JUNK" compared to these tires!! These tires are sticky and stable. They give you a much more confident ride. Turn in is quick and there is virtually no warm up needed, although I still suggest you do :) All in all these tires are AWESOME!! Michelins are they way to go on your bike. I won't buy anything else after owning these.

great even on a heavy bike
I bought this tire for my 2008 Concours 14 to take corners on confidence on several twisty roads in Arkansas at a brisk pace. It delivered! even outlasting the Continental conti-motion I had on the front, which had cords showing on the sides before the 4 day trip was even over.

I believe Michelin hit a home run by extending the harder compound unde the soft, it seems to really help with the heavier bikes and i was surprised the tire lasted as long as it has. it needs replacing now but after running several hundred miles on that Arkansas ride with around 4K miles of commuting thrown in (around 4800 total)i am plased with it.

PROS: Longevity, Traction

Use for both drag and the twisties. Wouldn't put any other tire on my bike period.

awesome tire
I've been a big Metzeler rider for a long time, when they where out of them at the time, i needed tires now!, so i got a set of pp3's i scrubbed them in, and they are just glued to the ground!! I can ride harder on streets then ever, I have complete confidence in these tires, metzeler's are good , but not this good!!

PROS: Grip

CONS: None yet

Great so far!
I've only had mine for a few weeks now, so I can't speak on the tread wear. What I can say is that they are great in the curves. I took my bike to hit the twisties in Arkansas w/o breaking them in and they still performed well, no slippage. They handled the switchbacks effortlessly. I love em!

PROS: Handles Good In Curves

CONS: none

Pilot Power 3
I had a set of the original Pilot Power tires on my 1200 Bandit and they were great tires in all aspects. So I assumed the PP 3's would be of the same level. I am not impressed. One of the big reasons I loved the originals were the grip over all and especially in the cold weather. Being the 2ct and the center a harder compound these tires do not have the same grip in the cold weather and also grab the line in the road and you get that quick little twitch when you are hard on the gas and switching lanes. Im sure they will last a bit longer than the originals. Either way its my bad. Not the tires. I understand what they did and should have known that with the center compound being harder they would not grip the way the med soft originals did. Point being, if I wanted a 2 compound tire I would have bought the Dunlop Q3's instead. They in fact turn in much better, have better grip when warm and dont grab the expansion joints like these do. Im not unhappy with the Pilot Power 3's I just made the wrong choice.

Love these tires
Bought these 2 months ago for my 2012 Yamaha YZF-R6, right out of the gate they had better feel than the stock Dunlop's that only lasted 2500 miles. They have hooked up well in the corners, while i am not a racer i do use my tire edge to edge with no "chicken strips". This morning on the way to work it was 39 degrees and they did have a little slide across the lines with no warm up, but it was controllable and i was accelerating pretty hard

No more Michelins for me.
I was a Michelin fan for a long time I run 2ct's,couple of sets of Pure's until they discontinued it. (I loved those) and now pp3's.
I have noticed capping and weird wear pattern where the two compound meet. The tire has a noticeable ridge from compound to compound. About 1/16". I tried all different air pressures and yes my suspension is set up right. Nothing seems to change pattern. Also tire slips a lot while cornering. I have about 2k on tires and about to chuck them to the trash.

CONS: Slipping No Grip
