4th set of these tires. Love them!
I have been running these on my motorcycle since i started riding these are my 4th set. I tried some Dunlop sportmax Q2 tires once and hated them. The Pirrelli's that came on my current bike were alright, but i had to switch back to Metzeler M3's. I don't think i will try anyhting else. I get good performance and the durability is amazing. I usually get 10k miles out of my tires. I used them on a 04' GSXR 750 and am using them on my 05' Buell XB9SX right now.

PROS: Good Cornering, Durable, Good Ride

BEST USES: Street Riding, Replacement, Upgrade, Racing

Oh My F*kin God I LOVE THESE TIRES!!!!!
I own a 1999 Honda CBR900RR. It has a 16" front wheel and it's annoying trying to find decent tires. After endless reading of reviews for the limited number of tires I had to choose from, I decided on the M3's and I COULDN'T be happier. If you own a 900rr I HIGHLY recommend getting over your loves of the 190 tire and stick with a 180, I can't believe how easily this thing wants to throw itself into a corner now. I'm completely in love with these tires. I put 400 miles in a strait line this last week when going to bike week in Daytona, and the tires look like they were still on the shelf. and friend and I "accidentally" found ourselves on the infield track at Daytona int'l speedway and got to hit a few corners, and holy F*^! What a rush, the tires hold a line really well. It was a great investment and may very well be returning for another set once I get an even better feel for them :)

PROS: Traction is insane, Falls into corners easily, Wears evenly

CONS: None yet

wear experience
This is my second front M3. It was at 9500 miles versus the Brigestone Battlax which lasted 8500 miles. The tire's wear pattern was off the traditional center. I assume this has to do with the dual compounds. According to Metzeler I should have run higher tire pressure than the Yamaha spec called for. So, had I known the tire would have probably lasted even longer. I am very happy with the grip, wear and quality of this tire.

Great tires
I have been extremely happy with these tires, been through 5 sets now and have tried BT016's, Q2's, PP2CT and PP's, Conti Sport Attacks all on the same bike. The M3's have offered the best feedback and longest life while still giving the best traction. I hope the M5's that are replacing them are atleast as good

Good tyre, great price!
6600 miles on a rear mounted on an '05 749. Slipped a few times breaking it in but nothing unusual. Fairly aggressive canyon riding at least 80% of its use. Holds a good line, stable, and confidence-inspiring. Didn't use at track but wouldn't hesitate to. Held up well to torque, compared to Michelin Power Pure. Was able to drag knees and still have 1/4 inch chicken strips for reserve. Ended with a puncture in what was left of the center thread but I had already hit most wear markers so I am not mad. Would still be using right now if not for the puncture; I guess that was a good thing.

PROS: Durable, Good Ride, Good Cornering, Versatile

CONS: Slippery When New

BEST USES: Racing, Street Riding, Upgrade, Replacement

CONS: Gets loose in 100 plus, Temperatures

Great Compromise
Great milage (6,000mi+ on an R1). Terrific grip right out of the driveway. Edge grip seems good in the canyons (mind you I'm only doing about 6-7 RPM...not pushing on the street) with no slipage issues.

Good compromise between a high milage tire with sport tire grip and feel.
